His experience in hospitals and in private practice includes interventions in general behavioral dysfunctions, eating disorders , and specific psychiatric illness. Jerry Lidsky is a Registered Art Therapist, Certified Group Psychotherapist, and State of Illinois Certified Teacher. He holds an M.S. degree from Illinois Institute of Technology with a thesis entitled, Art as a Tool for Learning Disabilities. Other advanced education includes professional biofeedback certificate program – Stens Corp.; alpha–theta brainwave training – Meninger Foundation; practitioner in hypnotherapy and clinician in brief solution–focused psychotherapy – American Hypnosis Academy.
