Brad K. Greenspan, M.D.

  personal statement

"My mission as a physician and psychiatrist is to provide compassionate, ethical and up–to–date medical care to patients with psychiatric disorders. To be responsible and responsive to my patients, their families, and to the medical specialists and therapists who refer their patients to me for the diagnosis and treatment of their psychiatric conditions. To maintain the confidentiality of my patients as medical ethics and the law prescribe. To provide informed consent to my patients, thus explaining the risks and benefits of treatment modalities I recommend as well as alternatives to those. To insure my availability to my patients as well as appropriate backup when I am away from the office. Finally, to advocate for patients with psychiatric disabilities in the community."
